- My mother died when my sisters and I were only 12 years old. My father would never come out of his room except to eat. My mothers death was hard on the whole family.
- My sisters and I were triplets. My mother said after us she would never have any more children. But she did have more children. Four more to be exact. There were nine of us in total due to there being one set of twins who were older than us. It was the last baby that mother had 4 years earlier that made her sick.

- Every weekend my father would take my siblings and me down to the peir.
- My sister's water broke that day. She gave birth to a little girl named Priscilla. I was the first person to hold her, due to my sister being asleep. Everyone was jealous because June also chose me to go back with her.
