Storyboard Text

  • Hello, my name is Professor Greg Ramune, and I am here to tell you some interesting stuff about Electricity.
  • This is the symbol of a resistor. The resistor slows down the electrons moving at full speed in the circuit. This is an important job because if the electrons move too fast, that creates a short circuit, which basically makes the circuit explode.
  • This is the symbol of a power source. A power source generates electricity that goes through the circuit. Power sources are generally batteries, which can go up to 10,000 volts of electricity.
  • This is the symbol for a switch. This opens and closes the circuit. That way if the circuit is complete, then the lights come on, and if it isn't complete, the lights go off.
  • You use electricity in about everyting. Including Cell Phones, Televisions, and Amusement parks would not be the same without it.
  • Hope today that you learned a lot about Electricity! Thanks Mrs. Brown!
