Hello, my name is Professor Greg Ramune, and I am here to tell you some interesting stuff about Electricity.
This is the symbol of a resistor. The resistor slows down the electrons moving at full speed in the circuit. This is an important job because if the electrons move too fast, that creates a short circuit, which basically makes the circuit explode.
This is the symbol of a power source. A power source generates electricity that goes through the circuit. Power sources are generally batteries, which can go up to 10,000 volts of electricity.
This is the symbol for a switch. This opens and closes the circuit. That way if the circuit is complete, then the lights come on, and if it isn't complete, the lights go off.
You use electricity in about everyting. Including Cell Phones, Televisions, and Amusement parks would not be the same without it.
Hope today that you learned a lot about Electricity! Thanks Mrs. Brown!
