  • Woodrow Wilson, who belonged to the Democratic Party, became the 28th President of the United States in 1913. He served in office from March 4, 1913 to March 4, 1921. His career included the roles of being a professor, statesman, college administrator, and a politician.

  • This amendment will finally allow our government to collect income taxes!
  • Wilson passed the Clayton Anti-trust Act, which attacked the trusts and protected the labor unions. It kept greedy companies from taking advantage of small businesses. It prevented companies from buying stock in other companies that might create a monopoly.
