Storyboard Text

  • Setting is late evening with a young male protagonist walking through a woodland area on his way home, minding his own business. However the male protagonist starts to feel paranoia due to sensing a lurking presence.
  • The male protagonist switches the course of his past, purposely taking the less direct route in an attempt to further isolate himself, consequently killing off his paranoia, however the presence he feels is seemingly getting closer.
  • A shot of the midnight sky signifies the timeframe, the night is increasingly approaching and it is now dark, symbolising time has passed and the length the protagonist has been walking experiencing the increasing paranoia.
  • The male protagonist is experiencing increasing paranoia, even though he has switched from his usual course in an attempt to feel safer. His paranoia is coursing him irritation constantly checking his surroundings, ensuring his safety.
  • The alternative course the male protagonist took, takes him deep into a forest where the ominous gradually becomes more present building up tension.
  • The finish to the title sequence will be the conclusion that the ominous presence that the male protagonist feels is a reality, as the presence lurches towards him. Not once is the presence/antagonist clearly visible to keep the mystery and to build tension.
