  • SURPRISE!--1754
  • Uh oh...
  • The French and the English claim the same land. George Washington goes to tell the French to get off the land because it does not belong to the French. This was the message that had to be carried out.
  • William Pitt Takes Over--1757
  • The only way to win. . .is to spend more money!
  • George Washington and 150 men attack the French. This began the French and Indian war.
  • For Duquesne Is taken over by the English--1758
  • The English are used to lining up end taking turns to shoot. The French are sneaking up the on the British, causing them to have an early lead in the war.
  • Goodbye, French Rule!--1763
  • William Pitt is now in charge. He spends too much money on winning the war, and England ends up in debt.
  • The English take over Fort Duquesne and renames it Fort Pitt, after their war leader William Pitt.
  • The English sign the Treaty of Paris and the French and Indian War is ended. The French no longer own any land, or have power in North America.
