In Ms. Strauss's classroom, her students were taking a big unit test. All of the students were stressed out, except for her favorite student, John.
A week later, Ms. Strauss announced that she had the grades for the test. Once she announced this, all the kids cheered and waited to find out what grade they got.
Alright class! I have your grades for the final exam!
Once John looked at the list, he got extremely angry because he saw that Steve got a higher grade than him even though Steve was known for not being that good of a student. Because he was so angry, he made an irrational decision.
Ms. Strauss! Steve cheated off of me on the test!
Once Ms. Strauss heard, she immediately went to the principal. Once they got there, they found out that Steve didn't actually cheat and John lied. The principal that about that and about how Ms. Strauss convicted a student without evidence.
Because the principal was so angry and this wasn't the first time Ms. Strauss did this, he fired her and suspended John for two days.
The moral of the story is to not be biased and don't jump to conclusions.
