- in this part of the story, major Moores brought a magical monkeys paw and it was cursed, he went to throw the cursed paw in the fire, but Mr. White grabbed it.

- at this point in the story, Mr. White is going to test out the paw, major Moores said to wish for something reasonable, so he wished for 200lbs.

- now at this point they are discovering the consequences of the paw and they got news there son Herbert had gotten caught in the machinery and had died.

- now, the mom realizes the curse on the paw and Mrs. White faints
- but even after everything they had went through they realized they missed there son and Mrs, White wanted him back and forced Mr. White to wish him live again.
- now they heard a knock at the door and they both ran downstairs, Mrs. White the door and Mr. White went to get the paw to wish his son back to the grave.
