Storyboard Text

  • Haha That guy is wearing a pink shirt
  • He looks so gay
  • It all started the day this grade Nine boy wore a pink shirt to school.
  • The day after this boy as ridiculed David Shepard and Travis Price organized for everyone to wear pink shirts in support.
  • The movement of Anti-bullying spread as many people became inspired by what these two teenagers had done. Soon schools across the Country started holding a Pink shirt day on February 28 in support of the movement.
  • It has been eleven years since this act of kindness and the movement is still going strong. This organization works together with other organizations to promote Anti-bullying and Kindness.
  • This movement is helping to change the bullying that used to dominate High school culture. While there is certainly still bullying in schools it is no longer the cool thing to do because of people like David and Travis.
  • Something we can learn from this movement is what can be achieved when two people have an idea and follow through with it. This  movement can inspire people to make a different even though they are only a few people out of seven billion.
