  • The battle of Bunker Hill 
  • don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes
  • The Battle of Trenton
  • The battle of Lexington and Concord took place in Lexington and Concord in Massachusetts in April ,1775 and the Americans won this battle with Captain John Parker as the British had General Gage as their leader and this was also to first battle of the Revolutionary War.    
  • The Battle of Saratoga 
  • I have but to give stretch to the Indian forces under my direction, and they amount to thousands
  • The battle of Bunker Hill took place in Charleston, Boston on Bunker Hill in June,1775 and the American Militia men showed they hold their own against the world's strongest army in the world. The British won this battle with General William Howe and the Americans gave valiant effort with William Prescott.

  • The battle of Trenton was located in Trenton, New Jersey in December, 1776 and the Americans won their second victory and killed and captured 900 British soldiers and gained much needed supplies. Their leader in battle was General George Washington.

  • The battle of Saratoga took place in New York in October ,1777 and this battle was the turning point of the Revolutionary War and Americans won with their general Horatio Gates and the British lost with General Burgoyne. 
  • The battle of Camden took place in South Carolina in August, 1780. This was a major victory for the British and the Americans retreated the scene and lost their third battle. The British were lead by Lord Cornwallis and the British were lead by General Horatio Gates. 
  • The battle of Yorktown was in Virginia in September-October, 1781. This was the final battle of the Revolutionary War and the Americans won this battle with General George Washington because of the surrender of the British army led by General Lord Cornwallis.
