  • Women were only allowed to learn basic information.  After that, they worked at the house and sometimes taught their kids.  Only few, wealthy women were able to get jobs.  If women were able to reap crops, they would only make 5 pence but men would make 8 pence.  Women were not valued nor was their options and input in this time period.
  •    Since Women could hardly have jobs, women usually worked at home and taught the children the very little knowledge they knew.  This was up to the man, who could choose his wife and when or if he wanted kids.  Just image, if women back then were able to have a status and were respect like men, how far and equal we would be now!
  • After a Woman was poorly "educated", she was allowed to marry at twelve years old.  Women lived a boring, sad life at an early age and were taught that men were the head of the house and to respect them.  Women were not respected and their options weren't valued, which lead to how we still have inequality today!
