  • What did you guys get for #1 on the math test?
  • Grace I got square root 98! No Anne, thats wrong... I got 5.8 square root 23
  • I wonder when we are going to start class...
  • I got 4.7 square root 56
  • What! I was about to do that but then I didn't and now all my answers are wrong! I probably failed.
  • How? I got plus or minus 12!
  • I wonder what my mom is going to make for dinner tonight
  • Its actually pretty easy I just used a thirty- sixty- ninety model and then solved for x! Simple!
  • Ok class lets get started. Who here can tell me why a belly flop hurts?
  • Go ahead young Chloe...
  • I can Mr.Patel!!!!
  • Mr: Patel: Nice work Chloe!
  • Well, water, H20, has very strong intermolecular forces, which are the forces of attraction between different molecules, as well as a high surface tension. This is because water is capable of Hydrogen Bonding - one of the strongest IMF's. Since when you belly flop you have to break the surface of the water and H20's IMF's are so strong and surface tension is high... it makes it very hard to break through the surface- causing it to hurt when flopping.
  • Ok... how does she know that?!
  • Oh would you look at the time! Class is over! I guess i'll have to answer Anne's question later...
  • Mr. Patel... have you ever belly flopped?
  • How is class already over?
