Women were forced cook clean and take care of the children.
Bye, I'm going to work!
During the Industrial Revolution families needed more than one income to survive, and cheap labor was needed in the factories, so women joined the work force
The women now had to maintain their houses, take care of the children, and make money at their tiring jobs, and they were fed up
Women realized the inequality that was present, so they fought to get the same rights that men had
WE HAVE RIGHTS TOO!!!!
The Seneca Falls Convention was held, and the women there debated, created, and signed the Declaration of Sentiments, which extended existing rights to women.
In 1920 the 19jth Amendment was adapted and women's right to vote was now protected by law.
