  • French Revolution: Introduction
  • Factors that led to the Revolution
  • Meeting of the Estates General
  • The French Revolution was in 1789 to 1799,after the American revolution. The French Revolution was when the peasants revolted for their rights.
  • The Tennis Court Oath
  • The 5 factors that led to the revolution were growing resentment among lower classes, new ideas, serious economic problems, weak/indecisive leadership, and food shortage.
  • The Storming of the Bastille
  • The meeting of the estates general was an assembly or representatives from all 3 estates, to improve the new tax.
  • The Great Fear
  • The Tennis Court Oath was the National Assembly got locked out of the meeting room, they then moved into the tennis court. No one was allowed to leave until they made a new constitution.
  • we are not leaving till we figure this out. 
  • The storming of Bastille was a mob looking for gun powder and armed weapons. The Bastille was a high class prison, after all of this they paraded around with taken with heads on sticks.
  • The Great fear was a wave of panic through France of peasants. Rumor of outlaws going for them. They began burning things, using pitchforks , and going to riots.
