  • Theseus is from Troezen, he was there because he thought his father was the great god Poseidon, because he did not know about his mothers and his real dad's secret marriage. He was pleased to be supposedly Poseidon's son While growing up in Troezen, he grew up gracious, stalwart, and handsome. 
  • Meeting with the mentor
  • Theseus's call to adventure was when his mother told him about his real father. That he wanted Theseus to come to him in Athens when he is strong enough to move the stone and that happened on his 18th birthday. When he found this information out he got his fathers sword and sandals and went off on his journey. 
  • Crossing the threshold
  • Theseus almost refuses his "call" when he had a talk with his grandfather he says, "For how can I come to my father with his sword unstained? Greece rings with the fame of Hercules my cousin, and shall I avoid robbers rather than slay them?" But he ends up getting over his fear and went on his perilous journey.
  • Test, allies, and enemies
  • Theseus's mentor is his grandfather, King Pittheus he gave him advice and tried to give him a ride to Athens. The advice he gave Theseus was, "Do according to your spirit." As Theseus's mentor he tried to give him a ride to Athens, however Theseus ende
  • Before Theseus even crosses the threshold, everybody in Athens knew of his arrival, not him exactly but a hero from Troezen was coming. When he got to Athens he was poisoned, however nothing happened. Then
