Storyboard Text

  • The Bastille Castle was an important part of France and it was also the centre of it. The Bastille was a fortress (strong house), armoury, and a prison that contained seven inmates.
  • A Parisian mob attacked!!! They were angry and had weapons and wanted to raid the Bastille. The large mob attacked the castle because of the king Louis XVI's decisions and actions made to France, as the mob also released and broke down the entire castle.
  • As the castle, people, and king were being raided, the inmates found a way to escape the prison.
  • Many people were sad but many were happy. The Batille castle ending up crumbling down into pieces. These were one of the actions that made a revolution, especially right after; happened the Tennis Court Oath.
