Storyboard Text

  • I can not wait for the dance show this weekend
  • Ow my shoulder!
  • We will go to the doctor's tomorrow but usually dislocated shoulders take a few weeks to completely heal.
  • I don't have a few weeks the show is in four days! I have rehearsals tomorrow morning!
  • You can sit out and watch rehearsals tomorrow and then we will see the doctor. Just get some sleep and we'll worry about it tomorrow.
  • Okay, I'll try.
  • As Tara thought of her upcoming dance show and leaped across the floor, she slammed her elbow off of the barre and dislocated her shoulder.
  • Tara was anxious thinking about what would happen with her show. She had been preparing for 7 months and she even had a solo.
  • Sweetie, you really should be more careful.
  • Actually mom, I think that fall may have popped my shoulder back into place. It feels so much better!
  • Once she tried to go to bed, Tara could not stop thinking about her shoulder. It gave her short bursts of pain, and she was unable to sleep.
  • The next morning, as Tara was on her way to the car for rehearsal, she slipped on the icy snow and fell directly on her injured shoulder.
  • Ouuucch!
  • When she tried to stretch her shoulder, Tara realized that she was able to move it up and down, unlike the night before. Her landing on the shoulder had healed it!
  • After Tara's slip, her shoulder returned to normal and she was able to perform. Her solo went perfectly, and all her hard work paid off!
  • GO TARA!!!
