  • I know what mechanical weathering is! Mechanical weathering is a process where it breaks big rocks into smaller ones.
  • An example is ice freezing and expanding in cracks inside of the rock.
  • Good! What is chemical weathering? And an exmaple?
  • Chemical weathering is the erosion of rocks.
  • An example is when it rains, water seeps down into the ground and comes into contact with granite.
