Storyboard Text

  • Habit 4: Think Win-Win
  • Yeah, but that's okay. I'm here to support you.
  • Hey you did great on getting that job!
  • Yeah, but its to bad you couldn't get it with me i knew you really wanted that job to.
  • Habit 5: Seek First to Understand then to Be Understood
  • Hey, you said you had something really important to say and you couldn't really text about it.
  • Yeah and please don't try to give me advice i just want you to listen to me, okay?
  • Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw
  • Man, I just needed a break, but my body also really need some coffee.
  • The mentality of Win-Win is an all you can eat buffet, that there is enough success to go around. An example of Win-Win is your friend just got in the college you wanted to get into  so you support him. You must win the private victory Habits 1, 2, and 3 before you start changing your relationships for the best. You MUST avoid the Tumor twins- competing and comparing for Win-Win.
  • Habit 4: Think Win-Win
  • Cool this is better then my last tests!!
  • Genuine listening is the best kind of hearing because you understand what people are saying to you. You need to practice listening to your heart, eyes, and ears as well as being in that persons shoes and mirroring what they they say. standing someone shoes is trying to understand where they are coming from. You need to respond when someone is talking to you so mirror what they say.
  • Habit 5: Seek First to Understand then to Be Understood
  • Hey I'm glad you could meet me today. What i had to say i thought it would be better to do it in person and not text.
  • Sharpening the saw is all about keeping your personal-self sharp so you are better prepared for life. There are four key dimensions that you need to listen to so you know what you want: body, brain, heart and soul. Body and brain are more physical things like working out and education. Heart and soul is more emotions and feelings; heart has to do with relationships with girlfriends/boyfriends, where soul deals with your personal life and your true feelings.
  • Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw
  • I have developed a Win-Win-not just with in me but my family, we communicate what we want and as a family how we can do better. I don't compare what my friends and outside family have anymore. I set my own goals to beat and to compete against myself.
  • What how did she get a 100%.
  • Because in just that much better then you.
  • I've tried implementing the mirroring with my mom and dad, but I got grounded because they thought i was smart mouthing them, so I'm not doing it again. I don't text anyone about anything important because communication is more then words. I try to be more understanding of my parents when they probe, but i usually start a conversation, not making them have to probe.
  • Yeah of course. Its always good to get out of the house anyway.
  • I'm looking into programs that will help my body and brain grow and preform at a higher level. I'm trying to take more time for myself and relax as well as balance my 4 dimensions; mt hardest has been my soul. I try to write down my feelings so when i talk about them i have the words right in front of me.
  • It feels good just to sit and watch TV and to just have me time.
