Storyboard Text

  • This is how you hunt...
  • Environment for the Great Plains: Full of prairies, with many grasses and wildflowers, it can get very windy there, with hot summers and cold winters. There are also several streams there.
  • Food Sources of the Great Plains: Native Americans in this region like to use bows and traps to catch animals. They also use rivers and farms for food. Animals they hunt include are deer and bison.
  • Art and Daily Life in the Great Plains: Some people known as nomads, didn't have a home, roamed around. Native Americans here liked to use horses as well. For the people who did have homes, they used tepees and lodges. Things that they did every day include decoration of normal things, men hunting and practice battling, women sewing, making tending/making houses, and scraping. Both also taught children how to do what they do.
