This was the first organized meeting to discuss the "Tea Crisis." The meeting was organized by The Boston Committee of Correspondence and the Sons of Liberty. Both groups were lead by Samuel Adams.
More British leaders were arriving in Boston. they passed a law that said no ship could leave Boston Harbor without a pass. They were creating a plan of the up most secrecy. Samuel Phillips was chosen as the moderator of the meeting.
The colonists gathered in the meeting house and the plan was set. The colonists were dressed as Indians. They dressed like the Indians so the British wouldn't know it was them.
