Storyboard Text

  • Since Pandora opened the graceless box, Zeus took pity on himself because he created so much havoc for mankind.
  • Let's start a riot!!!
  • Uch humans!
  • Since the humans were not successful, Zeus planned to wipe out the entire human race. The plan would be carried out with a flood.
  • MWHAHA! My plan is sure to succeed.
  • Son, there is a tragedy approaching.
  • However, Prometheus knew about Zeus's plan (because he is the god of afterthought) and quickly advised his son (King Deucalion) and his wife (Pyhrra).
  • What is it father?
  • You must build a boat.
  • Prometheus continued to lecture his son about the flood. Prometheus advised King Deucalion to build a strong boat and sail in it until the flood would pass away. The king and queen were to then throw rocks over their shoulders to repopulate the rest of the deceased humans.
  • Once most the humans were wiped out, following his fathers advice, King Deucalion constructed a boat and when the flood arrived he sailed with his wife for nine days and nine nights.
  • Once the flood passed the king and queen surely enough threw rocks over their shoulders. Every time King Deucalion threw a rock over his shoulder a male would spawn. However every time Queen Pyhrra threw a rock over her shoulder a female spawned. Several rocks later and the human race was repopulated.
