Billy's pond

- Billy has a pond by his home. The water in the pond is green. There are frogs in the tall grass by the pond. Billy Loves frogs. He is at the pond every day.
- BIlly likes to play in the water. He likes to feel the mud on his feet. He does not go oiut too far. He only gets his feet wet. Some days Billy hides in the tall grass. He sits very still. He sits so still that the frogs think he is a log.They come close. Billy gets to feel their skin. It is cool and wet. Billy picks them up. They hop out of his hand.
- Some days Billy goes to the pond with a stick and some string. There are little fish in the pond. Billy wants to bring one home for his mom. She says she will cook it for him. "Yum, yum," says Billy. "Little fish here I come."
