Act 1 Scene 5
Don't come near me! Your cloths will give me hives!
Peter! Don't you talk to Mr. Dussel like that!
Don't you dare say anything mean about Mouschi again!
The Franks, Van Daans, and Mr. Dussel move into the little space behind the big bookshelf in the building Mr. Frank and Mr. Kraler work in. They're given specific hours they're supposed to be quiet. These hours work around the times that people come in to and get off work.
Act 2 Scene 1
My father gave me that coat. You have no right!
We have to get rid of that fur coat! Other people need it and we can trade it for food!
Mr. Kraler had a friend who needed a place to hide out while the Nazi's were looking for the Jews. Mr. Dussel, Mr. Kraler's friend, moved in shortly after. Margot moved into their parent's room and he was given the other half of the room with Anne.
Act 2 Scene 3
You're keeping all the big ones for yourself!
I am not!
Mr. Dussel is allergic to cats. Peter has a cat named Mouschi. Mr. Dussel doesn't like Peter because of the cat. Peter is mad at Mr. Dussel because he said mean things about Mouschi.
Act 2 Scene 5
She was an amazing young woman. I wish I could've seen her one last time.
There's no more.
Mr. and Mrs. Van Daan argued because Mr. Van Daan wanted to sell Mrs. Van Daan's fur coat for food. Mrs. Van Daan's father gave her that coat. During their argument, the phone rings downstairs.
Mrs. Van Daan accused Mr. Dussel of keeping the bigger portions to himself. He argued back because he didn't think he was. The others around the table agreed with Mrs. Van Daan.
After Anne died, Her father returned to their little space behind the bookshelf. He found the diary and started reading it. Miep and Mr. Kraler were there with him.
