I think we should leave because the Capulets are wondering the streets.
I will not fight you without a motive, but you gave me just that.
Fight me Tybalt, show us who you really are.
Can you both take this somewhere private? Everyone can see us!
STOP THE FIGHTING!
Benvolio and Mercutio are arguing on weather or not to leave the streets. Benvolio wants to because the Capulet are walking around, but Mercutio continues to argue.
Tybalt started the fight before being killed by Romeo, Romeo was polite when asking Tybalt to stop. Tybalt was very angry though and wanted to fight. Romeo jumped in between Mercutio and Tybalt, but Tybalt still killed him.
Tybalt and two other Capulets showed up, and asked if they knew Romeo. Mercutio became mad and challenged Tybalt to a fight. Tybalt is a little wary on weather or not to fight but eventually accepted.
Benvolio, what has happened here!?
In the fight Romeo tries to step in and break it up. Tybalt ends up killing Mercutio ,and then Tybalt runs away.
Romeo will not be killed for the death of Tybalt, rather he will be exiled from Verona. If he is seen again in this city, he will be killed.
In a fit of rage, Romeo and Tybalt fight. As a result of the fight Tybalt is killed.
Romeo runs away at Benvolio's request. The Prince arrives and asked what happened. Benvolio gave a somewhat biased and not true account of what happened. He said Tybalt was the one instigating the fight, when it was in fact Mercutio.
As a punishment, Romeo is exiled (kicked out) of Verona. If he is seen again in Verona he will be killed. This will have an interesting impact on Romeo and Juliet's relationship.
