  • How many people have been helped or help in any ways.
  • Have you heard of the Make A Wish Foundation? Well let me tell you about it. The foundation helps children's wishes come true who are facing life threatening conditions. Make A Wish is a non profit organization.
  • Facts about the Make-A-Wish foundation
  • The make a wish foundation stated off when a kid by the name of Chris Greicius was diagnosed with Leukemia. his mother and the Arizona Department of Public Safety granted his wish.
  • Making a Difference
  • The Make-A-Wish foundation has around 32,000 volunteers yearly. 334,000 children have been helped. Now in 2017 more than 285,000 children in the U.S. experienced their one heartfelt wish.
  • reasons why to donate
  • The Make-A-Wish foundation has 38 affiliates of Make-A-Wish international serving children in nearly 50 countries worldwide. Fall into 5 different categories, "To Be" "To Meet" "To Have" "To Go" "To Give".  
  • Kids between the age of 2 1/2 to 18 are referred to the foundation and must have a life-threatening disease.  These kids are referred by a physician.  The child's treating physician has the final say to if the child's medical condition qualifies for his or her wish.
  • Reasons why you should donate to the Make-A-Wish foundation is because the money donated to this program is used for granting the kids wishes.  It helps a wide variety of children and families regardless of their backgrounds and situations. what are you waiting for?
