Marshall Makes The Supreme Court THE SUPREME COURT
By Gaurav Sethi
Duly noted, President Jefferson!
Hey, Secretary of State James Madison. Don't commission William Marbury to the Supreme Court. He's a Federalist, and we don't like them
Hah, what commission?
Excuse me, where is my proper commission to the US Supreme Court Mr. Madison?
Oh you rapscallion, I will take you to court!
Former President John Adams appointed me. I deserve my commission!
So if this were a normal case, I would rule in favor of Mr. Marbury, BUT, this case is by no means normal. The law that Mr. Marbbury is using as a basis is unconstitutional and the law is therefore void.
