There was once a man named Midas, he was the richest man in the world. Midas had collections of cars, a mansion, and even a yacht. Amongst all of those possessions, Midas also had a beloved daughter, named Marigold.
Of course, I will choose the second option. From now on, everything I touch will turn into gold!
One day, Midas was going to his mansion when he came across an old man...
I shall give you the option to improve your life! Would you rather have a good life without winning more money, or have everything you touch turn into gold?
Midas immediately ran to the city to test out his new power. Midas turned benches, leafs and end even lamp posts into gold.
Yes! It works!
It was late night when Midas went to see his car collection. He was going to drive his favorite car through the city when the car turned into gold. He tried with the other cars, but they also turned into gold. Midas realized the mistake he had made, now he could not drive, eat or do anything at all because whatever he touched would turn into gold!
Oh no! What have I done?!
Midas was sad, he was sitting on his sofa when suddenly his daughter came by. Marigold saw her father sad, therefore, she hugged Midas to console him. As soon as Marigold touched Midas, she turned into a gold.
Midas ran away from his mansion, he ended up in the river where he cried and cried. The legend says that Midas washed away his curse with his tears and the river's current. This story teaches us to not be greedy.
