At the strike in Winnipeg, conditions were much worse than people thought. Cops were waiting to hit every one of them as they acted like drugstore cowboys and even harassed many women by calling them Sheba's.

How am I going to tell my kids that I have lost my job and we only have enough money to live on the streets! How do I explain to them that we are easy targets to be taken on a ride anytime with our lack of money! How will we survive as black people in this country without a strong voice!
