This scene shows the Indus river. The people who lived in the Indus river civilization used the river for the irrigation of their crops, water to drink, and water to bathe in. The Indus river begins in the Himalayan mountains and ends in the Aribian sea.
This scene represents the farm land the Indus people had. They got alot of their food from farming. This was a very good place to grow crops beacuse the Indus river made it very rich and fertile. The floods were very important to the crops.
This scene represents the bathrooms of the Indus people's houses. They stood on a tray and pored water over themselves for a shower. All the water from the pipes went fro their bathroomsto under ground pipes and then out on the streets to drain.
This scene represents the houses of the Indus people. Their houses were usually made of mudbricks.Their houses were also very hot. They used their houses as workshops. People there often stayed on the roof of their houses.
This scene is representing goods in boxes that are being traded. The seals included in the pictures are used to mark the goods and was there tag.
This scene shows the Great Bath that they used to stay pure. They thought it was very important to be pure and their religon supported this greatly. The bath was used to bathe themselves pure.
