Storyboard Text

  • Why do you have a pit-bull? I thought pit-bulls were too dangerous.
  • Not all pit-bulls are dangerous. Only the ones that are trained to fight and be aggressive are dangerous.
  • Should people be allowed to keep pit-bulls?
  • Yes. Often pit-bulls are put into stereotypes because of their size and because some pit-bulls are dangerous. But pit-bulls are noted to be family pets and they are gentle, affectionate, and loyal.
  • I always see pit-bulls on TV and how aggressive they can be.
  • Pit-bulls are often used for their size and they have this reputation due to bad publicity. But most pit-bulls are gentle, unless they were trained to fight.
  • "On any given day, probably 10 people get bit by a dog," Gorant says, "But it's only news when it's a pit-bull."
  • Yeah, I have noticed how pit-bulls are only recognized for their bad behavior.
  • So what you are saying is that I should not judge a book by it's cover?
  • Exactly. Dogs are individuals too and just because you see one pit-bull acting aggressive, doesn't mean that all pit-bulls are aggressive.
  • Thank you for opening my eyes towards pit-bulls. I want to help spread the word on how not all pit-bulls are dangerous.
  • Of course, I am glad to know that I helped someone realize that not all pit-bulls are dangerous and that they can make great pets.
