Most of the Egyptians religion was based around the Nile. Thye believed that when someone died they would ride the Nile to the Valley of the Reeds (heaven)
The Ancient Egyptians also made mummy for their dead and the when the Pharaohs died they would be placed in tumbs. In the tombs the Egyptians would place food and the Pharaohs treasure in the tomb with the mummys.
The Egyptians needed the Nile for many things such as trade, travel, food, water, and religion. The Nile was very important to Ancient Egypt.
