  • Be my Hunting partner!
  •
  • When the world was very new, there lived a mortal named Ware Wolff. He was the best known hunter in all of Greece. In fact, Artemis herself asked him to be her hunting partner. He of course accepted.
  • One day, they were hunting a monstrous boar when Artemis was struck from behind by a different boar and dropped her bow. Soon enough, the boars were gone along with her bow.
  • They eventually split up going in separate directions. Ware was walking through the forest when a bright glow caught his eye. He turned towards it and the glow got even brighter.
  • Artemis was looking for the bow when she came across a village and heard cheering, so she took a break to check it out. Artemis followed the loud echoes and came to a street that was crowded with people. Ware Wolff was showing off the bow!
  • “Hera!” Howled Artemis, “I ask a favor of you, my hunting partner has tricked me into using my bow for his will!” They talked a little bit more until Hera finally agreed. Ware Wolff was still showing off the bow when Hera descended from the sky.
  • “You have deceived to goddess Hera and will pay for it.”With a few weird motions, Ware was turned into a dog like figure. “You will be able to keep your hunting skills, and still have the look of your robe, but you will now be a loner, a grey wolf. You will learn to be honest and not to deceive.
