can anybody tell me how the rock cycle works?
well it starts as a sedimentary rock which is rock that is very soft and may break easily and some examples of a sedimentary rock are conglomerate
Then it turns into a metamorphic rock and that is the one that looks like it has ribbon like layers and shiny crystals it is formed by minerals formed over my amounts of time on their surface.
it turns into magma after that and keeps melting until the volcano explodes
when the volcano explodes the magma goes flying in the air and then hits the ground over time it turns into ingenuous rock
as the lava cools it turns into ingenious rock no crystals though it is shiny and glass like. and when it is cooling down gas bubbles get trapped inside creating holes and spaces inside the rock.
