Yanek, I'm sorry but your family has been deported to a camp, by the Nazi soldiers.
Here comes Amon Goeth! Hurry guys let's go!
Yanek and his family have been living in a pigeon coop on the roof of his building for safety. In their ghetto, they have been making large deportations. Yanek's parents were grabbing bread when his cousin watched the Nazi take them of the streets to a camp.
Amon was walking through the barracks with his dogs as Yanek was underneath the floorboards. Thinking they would be smelled and be shot. Yanek and the other boys climbed out and pretended they were on a work detail. They were not caught.
The prisoners were shoved and smashed into a cart that smells of pee and vomit. They were packed in tightly and there was little air movement. No one had food or water, and the cart had no restrooms. It was very cold and snowing. On the way to the camp, the men were harassed by Polish children throwing snowballs.
