  • IT IS FREEZING IN HERE!!! I'M GOING TO PUT THE HEATER ON.
  • TOO BAD!!!
  • NOOO, THE TEMPERATURE IS PERFECT. WE DON'T WANT TO START SWEATING.
  • WELL, when the temperature increases, receptors on your skin. Afferent nerves then send a signal to the contol center, you brain, so the heat is recognized. 
  • *RAISES TEMPERATURE*
  • THERMOSTAT
  • *SWEATING*
  • GOSH, WE ARE BURNING UP!
  • DO YOU GUYS KNOW WHY YOU ARE SWEATING?
  • NO.
  • Then, efferent nerves send the signal from your brain to the effector, your sweat glands, in order to activaate them. Once they are activated, sweat is released through your pores, and onto the surface of your skin.
