Storyboard Text

  • America!
  • In March of 1870, Thomas Scott was shot dead for insubordination by Louis Riel. However, things didn't go exactly as planned for Louis Riel.
  • I have returned!
  • Soon after Thomas Scott's execution, the provisional government released all other prisoners in return for the safety of the Metis, and the authorities were after Louis Riel.
  • It was then that Louis Riel realised he would not be commended for Scott's execution, to which he then decided to flee in August, 1870.
  • The next time Louis Riel was seen was 15 years later.
  • Though, he came back leading yet another rebellion in the North West.
  • But this time around, Louis Riel didn't get away, and he was hanged for his actions by the Canadian Government.
