Storyboard Text

  • When snow piles up, the snow on the bottom turns to ice. This causes glaciers.
  • The glaciers are moving the Ohio River
  • When the glacier moved the river, it flattened the land behind it.
  • Cake Rock
  • First there was ice weathering. It was breaking down the rock. Second was erosion. This is where the ice and rock were scraping rock into a cake shape.
  • This is created by a glacier. What a glacier did was drag it across land. The glacier melted and dropped the rock. This would be known as ice deposition.
