  • In February 1942 President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed and executive order to remove Americans of the Japanese decent due to World war II 
  • This is necessary in order to win and make sure there is no traitors.
  • In March 1942 the War Relocation Authority began removing the japanese from their homes  
  • Only one suitcase per person! Let's Go!
  • Family's up to 7 people were forced to live in a 20x24 foot room. Some lived without warm water 
  • Dad why are we here? I want to go home, I'm scared.
  • Son it's gonna be okay we'll be out of here soon okay. I promise.
  • Camp Amache lasted for 3 years and had 7,300 japanese flow through. So they started to adjust to the circumstances 
  • Here some flowers kids 
  • Get out of here traitors. We don't want you here
  • After a while the japanese were able to go to the nearest town to handle thier needs, But weren't greeted happily 
  • Find someplace else. Leave. Unwanted 
  • In 1945 The japanese were allowed to leave the camps to contiune living. The japanese were given 10,000 for their troubles
