Whose idea was it to have our honeymoon in Antarctica??
I think I see a cave we can go in to escape the wind and snow
Why is it that we shiver when we're cold?
It's due to homeostasis
When you're cold, which is the stimulus, it triggers a receptor in your temperature sensitive skin cells, which travels in an afferent pathway to your control center.
Then your response to all of this is your body shivering, which ultimately occurs because your body wants to get back to a normal body temp.
Then, in an efferent pathway, an effector (your skeletal muscles) is triggered by your control center in order to begin shivering
We should have gone to Hawaii
