  • Exposition
  • That old man's eye gives me chills. I despise that eye with a passion.
  • I must get rid of it and I shall kill the old man.
  • Falling Action
  • "Who's there? Reveal yourself at once!"
  • Oh my god! I messed up and now I must be extra cautious and not move.
  • This may be my last moments. I am petrified.

  • "Finally Mission Accomplished. I have rid myself of that haunting eye."
  • The narrator's mentality isn't so well even though he thinks he's healthy. The narrator is affected severly by the old man's vulture eye and makes a plan to get rid of it.
  • Falling Action
  • They can never catch me. These officers won't ever figure out I am lying.
  • Hello, we have reports from neighbors that may prove a crime scene. We need to investigate.
  • The sound of the heart beat can not get out of my head!
  • The narrator proceeds with his plan until his hidden position is revealed. This caused him to be vex and now he must delay his plan in order to not get caught. The old man is now awake and scared while the narrator is hiding and watching.

  • It is getting louder, louder, and LOUDER! someone save me from this feeling!
  • The narrator finally strikes and kills the old man with the bed. He hearkened for a pulse but doesn't hear any and he knows he is successful with his plan. He showed his
  • Wait... I need to get rid of the evidence. I have a genius idea of burying the heart under the floor.
  • The narrator is in an acute situation as many people heard and reported the incident. He acts unusually innocent and shows the officer that incident never occurred.
  • "Oh officers I will gladly show you around the area! I have seen no criminal actions.
  • His hypocritical plan to kill the old man ended up back firing as the sound of the heart soon messes with his head. The corruption in his mind lead him to confess to the evil deed.
