Storyboard Text

  • Tommy! Get inside there and don't get out till I tell you. This chaos wont end for a while.
  • But Mr. Brand, when will you come back?
  • I'll be back in a while.
  • On a quiet suburban Maple Street somewhere in America, the power (including cars and portables) go off. Suspicion and fear spread in the neighborhood, causing them to fight and kill each other. Steve Brand takes Tommy, a small kid, to a safety room to save him from the chaos.
  • Excuse me, do you need any help? You look confused.
  • 3 hours later, Tommy gets out of the safety room, finding everything destroyed and everybody killed including Mr. Brand and his mother, Sally. The police arrive to investigate. They take him to a foster house.
  • Are you an alien Tommy?
  • Everybody, STOP!
  • The aliens turned off the electricity. Somebody here is the alien!
  • Your friend is the alien Mohammed!
  • Tommy searches for a safe city to live in and start a new life. He decides to travel to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
  • Tommy arrives in Jeddah. He doesn't know where to stay in for the night. A boy named Mohammed suggests that Tommy can stay in his house for the night. Tommy agrees thankfully.
  • You can stay at my house if you want. I'm Mohammed.
  • I'm Tommy. Thanks by the way.
  • I don't know where to stay for the night. Where do you think I can go?
  • Tommy and Mohammed arrive in Al-Andalus Street. As they are entering the house a flash and roar appear in the sky. Tommy gets scared. A small kid named Basheer tells them that there were aliens in the street that looked just like humans and they turned off the electricity. Suspicion and conflict take place. His father Saeed starts pointing fingers.
  • Tommy settles them down and stops their argument. Figure one and Figure two agree that people differ in different countries, as well as their level of education and most importantly religion.
