Storyboard Text

  • Transcription- DNA cannot leave the nucleus, so the codes are transcribed and turn into mRNA and go to a ribosome
  • The end result of translation is mRNA. The mRNA is in a ribosome.
  • During translation, the ribosome reads the recipe in mRNA and attaches the amino acids together in correct order to make a protein
  • The end result of translation is a protein.
  • If a mistake is made during transcription or translation, the protein could be made incorrectly or not made at all. The protien may not be affected at all
  • DNA is considered the blueprint of all life because DNA is basically the outline of life. If the the blueprint isn't followed correctly, mutations could happen and may negatively, positively, or not all all affect the person.
