A man leaves his house early in the morning because he could not sleep. H walked past the hospital tent and saw three bodies figures laying on the ground without anyone watching. He lifts the blankets and saw an old man, young boy, and a common looking man. All three of them are dead because of the war.
He might be a spy!!
The beginning started off with imagery of a dark foggy place with the cool air of the early morning. He walks out and describes a brownish woolen blanket that was covering three dead bodies. The first man was an elder man who looked grim. The second was a young boy who looked innocent. The third was a common looking man that resembled Jesus. The author used first person to show the emotion that was there.
Oh how this day has been foiled. Both men and child have died all from the hands of other angry men.
The narrator is giving off a grim, upsetting point of view about the civil war and how it affects all people no matter the age. This creates a sympathetic reaction to the poem and open the eyes of everyone that is reading.
Why are we fighting and killing innocent people without reason.
The day started off as a normal day but turned for the worst when the narrator found three bed bodies. The poem also compares everyone in war to each other, saying that we will kill anyone alike without knowing their story.
The title ¨A Sight in Camp in the Day break Gray and Dim¨ is saying how easily the day can be darken and turned into a more upsetting tone.
All of humans are alike and should not be killed off without reason. Killing our own, with no end in sight, will leave us alone with no one in sight.
