Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • Problem/Conflict
  • Rising Action
  • Are you that wife I wished for?
  • Yes I am. My name is Leita.
  • Mr. Peters was in his car driving when he heard strange sounds. He stopped and went to see what it was. He found a swan that was tangled up. The swan turned out to be the King of the Forest. In return for saving him, the King gave Mr.Peters three wishes.
  • Climax
  • I know what I have to do...
  • Mr. Peters was lonely. He had never been married, so he decided on a first wish. He wished for a wife as beautiful as the forest. He walked back to his car and fell asleep.
  • Falling Action
  • When Mr.Peters woke up, he saw the most beautiful creature he had ever seen. It was his wife. She had eyes as blue-green as the canal, hair as dusky as the bushes, and skin as white as the feathers of a swan.
  • Resolution
  • Mr.Peters walked into the room to find Leita crying and yelling her sister's name in her sleep. Seeing this made him think, and he knew what he needed to do.
  • Once again, Leita was a swan. She told Mr.Peters she would stay a human, but he knew it was too hard for her. Leita and her sister came to visit Mr.Peters from time to time.
  • Mr.Peters died alone. Once he died there were mournful sounds coming from the swans. He died with a white feather, and his last wish.
