  • Election of 1828
  • Spoils System
  • I don't need you anymore.
  • Worcester v. Georgia
  • William Crawford- Democratic,  Republican party leader John Quincy Adams- Merchant and person of the northwest Henry Clay- Person in Kentucky and on the frontier Andrew Jackson- Person in Tennessee and the west: person who felt left out of politics
  • Indian Removal Act
  • The Spoils System is when someone new come in, and replaces all of he old government officials with new ones. I agree with this, because these people might be friends with the new person and they will trust each other.
  • Trail of Tears
  • Worcester and the whole state of Georgia was involved. Worcester was sentenced by the state to "hard labor". I disagree with the dissensions made, because he was correct that the Cherokee was a separate nation.
  • Andrew Jackson Interesting Fact
  • It's a duel then!
  • The Indian Removal Act was signed by president Jackson in 1830, and became a law. This was where the Americans made the Indian tribes move onto new territory, because they wanted the land to themselves.
  • The trail of Tears is the trail that the Indians had to take when they were moved from Georgia. The journey was harsh, most of the Indians were bare foot. The trail was very long and most died on the way.
  • A man named Charles Dickinson called Jackson “a worthless scoundrel, a paltroon and a coward” in a local newspaper in 1806. So Jackson challenged him to a duel. Dickinson fired and hit Jackson in the chest. Jackson stood his ground and hit him right in the fore head.
