Merlin convinced King Arthur to send 40 babies out to sea to die...he had a son named Mordred with his sister. Mordred would be able to overtake King Arthur's Kingdom, he was a threat.
Mordred washed up on the shore, out of all the babies in the sea, left to starve and die, he survived. He would now be taken in by Fishmother and Fishfather who recently had their baby pass away.
Hurry!!!! There's a baby!
Mordred made Fishmother very happy. Mordred spent his childhood growing up here with Fishmother and Fishfather. He lived a simple life, they called him Tad.
So this was a lady. I did not yet find it odd that she rode alone....her gown flowed down like leaf-green water around her feet, covering them; I thought that she might not have feet, she seemed so different from my shout brown Fishermother standing in the huts doorway. The lady's skin lustered smooth as pale moonlight. Her hair the color of a red hawk lay in sleek parted wings over her ears.
Nyneve came and took Mordred away to the castle at Lothian to keep him safe from King Arthur.
