I tried to escape but after the fire passed I couldn't find food or water.
Animals like me including deer and elk escaped the fire and lost our habitat we found a place to stay but we aren't natural here and won't live long.
I live here and eat rodents like lizards and mice but animals not naturally living here prevent me from eating.
Some of us end up in areas where people live then we are hunted and killed because people are scared of us.
Animals like raccoons and squirrels have a hard time escaping. 3/10 of the the small rodents and animals in trees escape the fire. Other animals like elk and deer escape most of the time about 8/10.
This is our habitat after the fire we now are hungry and dying of thirst.
Predators also are eating us more than usual from food shortage.
When animals go into safe areas away from fire they affect the ecosystem and animals that naturally live there.
Most fires that destroy my home are from people.
Animals need to escape but some animals get so frantic they just keep running then come across people that get scared and kill them.
Do not enter!!!
You're being watched!!!
Animals that hunt other animals get very hungry and then it gets so serious there can be a food shortage and animals can go endangered and possibly extinct in the area.
People often times are the main cause of fires from either throwing matches or other objects that can catch on fire into trees or bushes.
People need to take action fast and I made a plan. People should make fences and signs keeping people away and camera's to catch the people and get information on them and if people go past the fence then people should make them have a year or two in jail for trespassing.
