  • Let's be friends again bro

  • I hate you forever!
  • HA! SAME HERE!
  • 2ND STANZA
  • 3RD STANZA
  • WOWW!
  • This stanza has a literal meaning. When the speaker tells his friend what has upset him, they made up and the speaker is no longer angry. However, he does not tell his enemy about what makes him angry.Hence, his anger bottles up and keep rising towards that person.
  • 4TH STANZA
  • HAHAHAHA! FINALLY!!
  • LITERAL: The speaker treats his anger very much like plant which needs water and sun in order to grow. He watered it with his "fears" and his "tears" and made sure it got plenty of sunshine (smiles and deceitful wiles). METAPHORICAL: He suggests himself as a deceptive person and that he is planning something very sinister and mischievous.

  • LITERAL: Because of his effort, the plant eventually bore a delicious bright apple. METAPHORICAL: Anger and hate become appealing to the speaker, and his enemy is fooled by his deceitful behavior.

  • Literal: The "foe" sneaks into the speaker's garden at night to steal the apple. The next day, the speaker found the foe laid out at the garden (sleep or died because of the apple).  Metaphorical: The enemy tries to take advantage of the speaker, but the speaker is one step ahead of him. The speaker’s secret anger poisons and kills his enemy.
