Six was sitting on the bench outside of his store when he saw a strange number entering the village. Confused, he went up to that number.
"I've never seen you here before," Six asked, "Where did you come from, and whay do you have a dot between the 4 and the 5?"
The strange number said, "My name is four-point-five. I came from the mountains, and there are a lot more other numbers who look like me. We are called decimals."
"Oh, that's strange!" Six said. "Why are you like this? "It's because we're not whole numbers," four-point-five replied, " We are like fractions, but we use the number behind the dot to express the value less than an integer. For example, I am 4.5, so I take 4.5 cakes, which is also 4 and one-half of a cake."
"So you are related to fractions," Six clarified. Four-point-five nodded. "I'm also related to you too! All natural numbers are actually decimals, but you have infinite zeros after the decimal point, so they aren't shown."
After thanking four-point-five and sending the decimal on his way, Six wondered, "If I'm a fraction, natural number, and decimal at the same time, how many other forms do I have?"
"Oh, that's strange!" Six said. "Why are you like this?
