Dan Dan the Monkey Man
Dan isn't sure how to get his monkey down, he has a rope but doesn't know how high the monkey is! He is 20 ft away from the tree and is looking at a 60 degree angle at the monkey. He uses Tan(60) x 20=34.6 so he needs to throw the rope up 35 ft.
Dan wasn't strong enough to throw the rope that high, so he gets a ladder! He isn't sure what angle to set the ladder at! The ladder is 10 ft away from the tree and the tree is 20 ft tall, so he used Tan^-1 (20/10)= 63.4 so he needs to set the ladder at 63.4 degrees.
Dan started to climb the ladder but got scared and climbed down because he is scared of Heights! He grabs a broom to try and whisk the monkey out. He is looking at the monkey at a 45-degree angle and the tree is 20 feet tall so he uses 10/Tan(45)=10 so he needs to be 10 ft away from the tree.
Dan Dan the Monkey Man finally got his monkey back!
Dan and his pet monkey start to head home when his monkey decides to climb on top of a building! Oh no! Looks like a job for Dan Dan the Monkey Man!
